Seven Summits Kilimanjaro Limited (7SK) is an independent specialist travel company based in Moshi, Tanzania. After more than 27 years of guiding on Kilimanjaro, Respicius is a Seven Summiteer, seeking to join the ranks of others while being the first Tanzanian and East African to summit all of the highest peaks on each of the seven continents. To date, he has climbed Mt. Aconcagua in Argentina; Mt. Elbrus in Russia; Mt. McKinley/Denali, in the USA; Mt. Kosciuszko in Australia; and other mountains in Switzerland. He has led thousands of people to the peak of Kilimanjaro since 1997.
Every year, over 30,000 people just like you come to Tanzania to scale the world’s tallest free-standing mountain and Africa’s highest peak. Climbing Kilimanjaro does not require any technical skills or special equipment, just some physical fitness, determination, and the right guide service to help you along the way.
The Seven Summits are the highest mountains on each of the seven continents. Here is the list of the Seven Summits:
1. Mount Everest in Asia – 8,848 meters (29,029 feet)
2. Aconcagua in South America – 6,960 meters (22,837 feet)
3. Denali (formerly known as Mount McKinley) in North America – 6,194 meters (20,320 feet)
4. Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa – 5,895 meters (19,341 feet)
5. Mount Elbrus in Europe – 5,642 meters (18,510 feet)
6. Vinson Massif in Antarctica – 4,892 meters (16,050 feet)
7. Puncak Jaya (Carstensz Pyramid) in Oceania – 4,884 meters (16,024 feet)
